Ian Stewart, of the recently launched WordPress theme blog, ThemeShaper, offers a roundup of opinions on the future of WordPress themes. Eleven designers “committed to thinking creatively about WordPress themes and what they mean” chime in.
My take is included in the list, but reading the other posts made me realize how ignorant I am. I hadn’t heard of half of the contributors. It’s well worth a read, if only to introduce yourself to some new theme designers.
Be sure to check out Ian’s themes, too. Theseus is a standout and LaunchPad, a “domain parking theme”, is perfect if you’re not quite ready to launch your new blog.
